Nguyễn Huy Đức

Singer Nguyen Huy Duc was born in 1979. He graduated with a master’s degree in vocal performance from Vietnam National Academy of Music. From 2003 until now, he has worked at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet. Currently, he is holding the position of Deputy Head of the Chorus.

He once starred as Junigar in Bizet’s Opera “Carmen”; Isonokami No Marotari in “Fairy in a Bamboo tube” which was a Vietnam – Japan cultural cooperation project; Ho Ton Hien in “Kieu” by Nguyen Thien Dao; Quan Tri Chau – Deo Van Hung in “Miss Sao” by composer Do Nhuan; Elder of Aepong village in “Sculptor” by composer Do Nhuan; God of the mountain in “Red Leaves” by composer Do Hong Quan.

He is also the main Baritone in Astor Piazzola’s “Maria de Buenos Aires” opera; Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 9”; The choir “Carmina Burana” and many other classical pieces.

In his career, he has won many awards such as the Silver Medal at the first Professional Dance and Art Contest in 2015; Silver Medal at the Green path 9 Singing Festival and 2nd Place in Group B – Male Singer – Chamber Music – Musical at the 2019 Fall Music Competition.
