Emeritus Artist Bui Viet An, a dancer, was born in 1989 and graduated from the Military University of Arts and Culture. Since then, she has worked at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet.
Currently, besides performing, she is majoring in Dance Training at Military University of Arts and Culture.
She is the national representative participating in the two festivals of French-speaking countries taking place in Lebanon in 2009 and Ivory Coast 2017.
During the working process at VNOB, she was awarded many titles:
– 2011: Achieved the title of junior emulation soldier for 2 consecutive years (2009-2010)
– 2012: Achieved the title of ministerial-level emulation soldier and the title of “junior emulation soldier” for 3 consecutive years (2009-2011).
– 2016: Certificate of Merit for achievements in Youth Union and Youth Movement of MOCST

Dancer Nguyen Tho Duong was born in 1983. She graduated from the Vietnam Academy of Dance. From 2004 to present, Tho Duong has been a dancer at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet.
In 2006, Tho Duong participated in the play “Drought of the Rain” by choreographer Esola Thuy and toured in many countries around the world.
During the time working at the VNOB, she participated in many works as: Giselle, Nut cracker, Chopiniana, Swan Lake, Spartacus, Scheherazade, Rite of Spring, Light Source, Heart of silk, Amnesia, Immortal Moments, Secret Garden, La Syphide, Moments …
Dancer Pham Duy Khanh was born in 1991 and graduated from the Vietnam Academy of Dance. From 2010 until now, he is a dancer at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet.
Performed in the works: Firefly Season, Minus signal, Death and the maiden, Secret Garden, Moments, Amnesia, Rite of Spring. He also participated in Ballet: Nut cracker, Giselle, Fire Bird, Swan Lake …
Dancer Nguyen Van Nam was born in 1988. He graduated at the Vietnam Academy of Dance. From 2009 until now, he is a ballet dancer at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet.
Van Nam has been in the leading role in many famous works such as: the Nut cracker, Swan lake, Rite of Spring, Secret Garden, Amnesia, Heart of silk, Firefly season, Wind, the shore, Death and the maiden, Bolero…
In addition, he has won many awards at local and international competitions and dance festivals such as: Silver Medal for the work “New Day” at the Korea Dance Festival; Gold Medal at International Dance Festival for “Firefly Season”; Gold Medal at the International Dance Festival, “Rite of Spring”; Best Dancer Award in International Dance Festival Competition.
Dancer Nguyen Phuong Anh, born in 1997, graduated from the Vietnam Academy of Dance. From 2016 until now, she is a dancer at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet. She has participated in “Rite of Spring” and won the Golden medal at International Dance Festival 2017. In addition, she has also participated in many famous ballet and contemporary dances including: Giselle, Nut cracker, Swan Lake, Suite en Blanc, Bolero, Moment…
Dancer Pham Thi Dien was born in 1990. In 2009, she graduated with a 7-year major in Ballet, Vietnam Academy of Dance. After graduating, she went to work at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet
During the time working at VNOB, she was present in famous ballet such as: “Chopiniana”, “Nut cracker”, “Swan lake”, “Giselle”, … In addition, she also participated in Contemporary dances as: “Moments”, “Minus Signal”, “Death and the maiden” … Besides, she also performed in the great opera works: “Carmen”, “Red Leaves”, “Miss Sao”. In 2017, she participated in the dance “Rite of Spring” and won the gold medal of the International Dance Festival 2017.
Dancer Nguyen Ngoc Hai Ly, born in 1993, graduated as a Ballet dancer. Hai Ly has participated in many famous pieces as Swan Lake, Nut cracker, La Ventana, Giselle, Chopiniana, Bournonville ballet class. In addition, she has also participated in many contemporary dance works such as: Heart of Silk, Firefly Season, Secret Garden, Fire Bird, Rite of Spring, the four sacred creatures: dragon- unicorn – turtle- phoenix, Under the Eye, Moment, Amnesia, Marie de Buenos Aires and at the show “Around the world”….
Ballerina Nguyen Thu Hue was born in Cam Thuy, Thanh Hoa. She went to Hanoi to study ballet at the Vietnam Academy of Dance when she was 12 years old. After 6 years of pursuing this academic art discipline, in 2012, she graduated from Vietnam Academy of Dance and became a ballet dancer at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet. At the same time, she has successfully won the Gold Prize of the “Young Talent Students of National Culture and Art Schools in 2012”.
During her career at VNOB, she was a soloist of many plays such as: ‘Chopiniana”, “Nut Cracker”, “Giselle”… Thu Hue’s career has reached the peak in 2019 with the ballet “Swan lake”. All tickets of 7 nights of “Swan Lake” at the Opera House and an outdoor concert at Ecopark have been completely sold out and left many impressions in the hearts of Vietnamese and international audiences.
In 2020, Forbes magazine named Nguyen Thu Hue as the young face in the list of 30 most outstanding 30-year-old characters of Vietnam in 2020.
Dancer Ngo Hanh Duong, born in 1997, graduated from the Vietnam Academy of Dance. In 2017, when she was a student, she successfully won the Silver Medal at the Student Talent Contest with the work “Fortune”. Also in 2017, Hanh Duong participated in the work “Rainy Mushroom” and got the Silver prize at International Dance Festival 2017. From 2018 until now, she is working as a dancer at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet. She participated in many works as: Swan Lake, Nut cracker, Marie de Buenos Aires, the show “Around the world”,… Particularly, she played as soloist in the contemporary dance “Under the Eye” by choreographer Bui Ngoc Quan.
Dancer Tran Le Thanh, born in 1993, graduated from Contemporary Dance at Vietnam Academy of Dance. From 2018 until now, she is a dancer at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet.
She has won the Excellence Prize of the “Vietnam Academy of Dance for the 1st Open” in 2017; Outstanding dancers perform contemporary dance works successfully in the National Competition for Dance Performance Talents; The first prize in the contest of talents for students in traditional culture schools organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism
In 2018, soloist in “Father’s Treasures”, Choreographer Tong Mai Len, won the Golden Prize of Vietnam Comedy and the contemporary dance “Under the Eye”.
