The National Orchestra was established on August 6, 1959 with 114 musicians.

Over many generations of inspiring artists, musicians who dedicated to the profession, the orchestra has grown and become more professional with more extensive programs, Repertoire included many of master works by the famous composers of all styles from classical to modern, such as Pucini, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, Elga, Saint – Saens, Rimsky Korsakov, Stravinsky, Bernstein…The Orchestra has undertaken the large programs of symphonic music and opera with the famous domestic and international conductors.
